CHILDREN’S

We are excited to offer Children's Sunday School at 7:00 am every Sunday for ages 2 -9. Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

 

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT

SHCOC is committed to producing mature Christian youth and Young Adults.  Our desire is to see our Teens and Young Adults come to know Christ to be successful and productive Christians. In addition to Sunday School regular afternoon worship service, we have regular activities such as youth conferences, Youth Rallies and other tools to meet our goal of reaching and teaching young people for the glory of God.  The Youth Ministry has a philosophy, purpose, goal, and workable strategy to see that our teenagers and young adults have a first-class program. 

 

WOMEN'S

The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to provide opportunities for the women of the congregation to strengthen our relationships with each other as well as provide avenues of outreach and service.  Our Prayer call is held every Monday at 9 pm. The Women’s Ministry meets every 3rd Sunday immediately after worship service for bible study and to review the work ministry. Each woman in the congregation is encouraged to find an area she can be actively involved in and to be aware of other opportunities that she may wish to initiate. Topics and Teachers vary. 

 

MEN'S

Our Men's ministry Is building the brotherhood through fellowship to assist men in becoming spiritually empowered through love, personal ministry, and accountability.  The Men's Prayer call is every Tuesday Night at 9 pm and bible study is every 3rd Sunday immediately after worship service. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17, NIV).

 

ROYAL DAUGHTERS/ ROYAL SONS

Vision:  Royal Daughters and Royal Sons is a mentoring program to instill the Christian values that our adolescents need to grow spiritually, emotionally and socially.  Its purpose is to promote self-esteem and foster virtuous character traits necessary for their Christian development.  A variety of avenues will be used to highly engage our youth and young adults.  These activities include empowerment sessions, interactive role-play, workshops, and cultural experiences.
